I would like to use as a strengthening proposal for one of your examples a V-shaped steel brace on the upper floor and an inverted V-shaped steel brace (Chevron Brace) in the same place on the lower floor to transfer the forces to the columns and not to the beams.
I have noticed from the eigenvalue analysis that the two braces are not connected for example with a rigid element and that they are actually independent.
The V shaped braces in the upper floor (from the action effects diagrams) don't receive axial forces. Only they in the lower floor.
Could you advise me how the simulation should be done correctly?
I attach the link with the relevant files.

Thank you in advance and for your quick response.
Kind regards

Re: Correct steel braces simulation and connection between floors.
Hello Dimitris,
Indeed there was a problem in our 3D modeler, when two braces crossed each other. We have fixed this problem in v2025 Release-1 build-50, which is currently available at our web site. Thanks for noticing this problem.
