I am already used seismostruct new version 5.But I find the new version could not open and revised local damping ratio,I want to know whether this problem influence computed result and how to resolve,thank you very much

We have looked into your model, and could not find any problems in changing the damping properties of link elements.
We also noted, however, that you are running static time-history analysis (with floor forces, rather than base accelerations, applied to the building), which obviously implies that damping will not be considered by the program (in other words, changing damping values will have no effect on the analysis results).
In addition, we noted:
- you are using an analysis step of 0.1s, when your time-histories are defined with a dt=0.01s, meaning that you are leaving out much of the time-history data.
- you are using 'infrmDB' elements without subdivision, meaning that you are not modelling accurately material inelasticity. Use infrmFB instead, for such cases.
- you are using a relaxed convergence criteria (disp OR force).
We thus wonder if a careful revision of your model may be needed, perhaps starting with smaller subassemblages (e.g. one or two storeys) before proceeding to the full model.
