I'm using the FB elements to do a cyclic pushover on a cantilever but as result, I cant't obtain a strength degratation, stiffness degratation and pinching for low axial loads.
I'm using the material stl_bl; concrete core- confined concrete; concrete cover- unconfined model.
I would like to know what is my mistake.
I read the previous questions about this problem (Reinforced concrete model).
Thank you, Umberto

Re: Degradation of FB elements
Dear Umberto,
Have you introduced strain-hardening in your steel material? If you did, then for low levels of axial load, you may indeed struggle to get degradation, especially when using a steel model (stl_bl) that is not capable of modelling rebar buckling due to cyclic loading.
In addition, issues of localisation will also play a role here, influencing your results as a function of the number of integration sections you define in your element.
