Sol_Prb errors

Post by user »

When I try to run an analysis, the program crashes or a 'Sol_Prb' code message appears. What is wrong?

This rare and abnormal behaviour (Solution Problem) occurs on unstable models that lead to out-of-balance forces that are several orders of magnitude larger than the Maximum Tolerance. In such scenarios, you are advised to revise your structural model in detailed fashion, since it is highly likely that a modelling error has occurred (see also the many "convergence tips" that can be found in several parts of the Help System; e.g. Iterative Strategy, Convergence Criteria, links, truss, Response Control, etc).
