Yes, an upper bound value of 9999 is set as the maximum number of nodes or elements that can be defined in a SeismoStruct model.

You can create your own SeismoStruct example models by running the program's Wizard facility, which will, in this way, get you started in not more than half a minute.

On very rare occasions, bug fixes had to be introduced in the solver of SeismoStruct, and this might cause the differences that you are experiencing. Please refer to the 'History of Development' for further clues.

You are most certainly trying to open a project file that has been created in a more recent version of SeismoStruct. Please visit SeismoSoft website (www.seismosoft.com) and download the latest release of the program.
