I think there is something wrong with your installation. I have 3 tabs. One of them is titled Elastic/Inelastic Response Spectra and has the option to change the range of periods.
You might need to run the programme in administrator mode, or reinstall it in said mode.

I too have noticed that the current version will expire at the end of the year. This doesn't sit well with me because I have a major piece of coursework set which is all based on the use of this software.
