hello;
when we use an dynomic Ida analysis ;in the lower intensity acceleration steps if a yielding or fracture happens for model does software consider those in next runs with the same record or in any scale factor analyses perfect model?

in the case of dynamic time history analysis i have 6 story model after run and apply the afew steps of loading(always before apply the pick accelerations )it warnings" Unable to apply the next load step" also i have done the same model with pushover analysis and a dynamic time ...

Re: how can i get the moment curvature for a section?
hello;
you can find your answer after the analysis finishes but it depends on kind of element class and the way that you have modeled it,anyway in post processor tab-global response- frame hysteretic section select the column...

Re: model of lumped mass out of the frames
hi;
i want to calculate the over strength factor of columns so we have to ignore the weigth of the structure in order to acheive 'Vmax','Vy' while doing the dynamic time-hystory analysis;
what kind of elements do i have to use for external column and connector element?

hi seismo;
exactly,i want your "second note",but what properties and restraints do i have to apply in the case of column support and pinned links?

model of lumped mass out of the frames
hi all;
i want to model the lumped mass out of the frame in time hystory analysis so as to it is applyed on the structure non directly;so how can i model it?
