Load control vs Response control

As far as i am concerned seismosoft suggests to use response control loading when using conventional force based pushover analysis (correct me if not). When using displacement based adaptive pushover analysis should i use adaptive load or response control option?

Seismosoft thanks for the reply! Now that i checked again my model for some reason i do no get this error message anymore. If it start appearing again i will let you know. Many thanks again.

After running a pushover analysis i got the following error message: 'INCIRCUM-F-Points are coincident'. Can someone please explain me what does this mean? Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your answer! So does this means that when assessing an existing structure seismostruct just looks the moment capacity of the elements and not their shear strength? What about if the element has failed in shear before the full moment capacity of the element is achieved?
