Re: Control Node
Apart from the automatic selection of the control node, according to the requirements of the selected code, there is the possibility of the definition of the control node at the center of a specific slab (Building Modeller settings>Structural Modelling tab). However, it is not possible to directly s...

Thank you for your suggestion. We will consider making this change in a subsequent version of the program.

Re: Basement Storeys
The exact conditions of the basement nodes depend on the soil profile and the adjacent buildings. You can change the boundary conditions, after you create the model with the Building Modeller.

Re: Cracked/Uncracked stiffness in RSA
In pushover analysis there is not a distinction between the cracked and uncracked stiffness, since the stiffness is constantly calculated and updated, depending on the current level of deformation. Having said that, in the necessary eigenvalue analysis (it is needed for the calculation of the target...

Re: Modelling of rubber bumper installed between expansion joints
In SeismoStruct there are 30 hysteretic curves that can be used with the nonlinear link element (NLlink). Please refer to the manual or the help of the program for the specific details and input parameters on each curve. Specifically for your needs (multilinear model with strain hardening), you can ...

Re: Brick Masonry
I am not sure that I understood what you mean. At the beginning of the analysis there is a general check of the model, before starting the execution of the actual analysis.

Re: Multiple Envelope Definitions
Hello Tim, We tried it, but we could not duplicate the behavior that you described. We noticed however that, when the envelope shapes are updates, the program changes the input shape to the last unchanged envelope. Can this be the reason why you feel that the only the first envelope shape is employe...
