<t>Hi, I have two questions on T-section rcts:<br/>
<br/>
1) Where is the origin of the local axes system located? Is it on the centroid of the section? if yes, is there a way to change that?<br/>
<br/>
2) The software automatically assumes that the confined area is also T-shaped. Is it possible to ...

Re: RC column-beam joint
<t>Hello,<br/>
<br/>
And thank you for the excellent support you offer to your forum users!<br/>
<br/>
I am also looking into modelling RC beam-column joints and have a preliminary question. It is my understanding that in SeismoStruct beam-column joints are modeled as (practically) rigid joints ...

Questions on literature
<t>Hi!<br/>
1) In the "Material inelasticity" section of SeismoStruct Help, it is mentioned e.g. that it is typical to use 300-400 fibers per modeled section. No specific source (paper, book) is cited in this regard. Are the recommended numbers based on experience or on some source in the literature ...

Interaction diagrams for RC sections
H! Is it possible to extract axial force - moment interaction diagrams for reinforced concrete (column) sections using SeismoStruct? Thank you for taking the time to respond to this inquiry.

Re: output file size
I guess I had not realized I can right-click on the plot (global response parameters), then choose the export tab, then the data tab and copy, save or send the data...

Re: output file size
<t>Hello! I would like to come back to Luca's question: "Is it possible to obtain output text data only for selected elements and nodes?"<br/>
I am interested in recording e.g. just the top floor (relative to the base) displacement and then post-process the results with MATLAB. However, the output ...
