Re: Pushover Analysis Error
1) As per your directions i have apply X+Y+RZ rigid link constrains, alter the fracture strain of reinforcement and in the performance criteria i have increased the strain value limits. unfortunatelyt got the same response capacity curve break after attaning the maximum value of base shear. The ...

Re: Pushover Analysis Error
Dear Huffte,
thanks for your response, i have already encountered the above two scenarios that you have hilighted i have assign the strain values of Life safety to Immidate occupancy level but still that problem happen. Analysis get terminated after achieving the maximum base shear value and the ...

Re: Pushover Analysis Error
Hi,
what could be the reason in static pushover analysis when a curve studdenly break each and every time after attaning its peak value and does not complete the analysis/curve,gives error elm_inv every time. I have increase the values of element iterative strategy, global iterative strategy an ...

Re: SHEAR WALL MODELLING
hello
I did static POA and NLTHA of my 4 story RC structure the building is stiff in Y direction while having too much displacement in X direction so I provided shear wall in x-Dir but after analysis the building has still that much displacement its mean shear wall is not contributing its role ...

Re: Pushover Analysis Error
Dear Zoi Gronti,
Thanks for your response I carry out the research and I got some connectivity issue in my model, I solve that now my analysis run completely and all values got converge but the issue is software is not considering the shear walls which I have added. Program is giving the same base ...

Re: Pushover Analysis Error
hello,
i did static pushover analysis and IDA of my structure got the results, but this time when i added 2 shear walls in building and run the PO analysis, the analysis is not running and giving the error "warning: could not re-orthogonalise all Lanczos vectors".why is it so, what could be the ...

Re: Incremental Dynamic Analysis
1) I spotted diverge elements in post proc converg, noted the displ breach value, changed value in the settings accordingly, ran analysis again but still 1 to 2 element shows ele_tol, ele_inv error in each iteration after 0.4 scaling and so on, but my analysis run that positive but not run ...

Re: Incremental Dynamic Analysis
I have tried each and every possibility given in manual and video but every time analysis stop at third scaling iteration and gives only errors elm_Inv and elm_Tol. kindly guide me in this regard. i have change there values in setting but still unable to run analysis completely. secondly these ...

Re: Incremental Dynamic Analysis
hello z.gronti
I did all the things that you suggest me in the above dialogue i.e. 1) I have use the accelerogram with higher time step (reduction of time steps from 8000 to 2000,1000,400 steps), 2) I have also alter the frequency value ( use 1,2,3 in different iterations), 3)I have break the file ...

Re: Incremental Dynamic Analysis
Dear z.gronti,
I understood the above recommendations and I really appreciate. I will apply them and will let you know here but I have only two confusions left.
1) I have check the manual regarding values of "Frequency of Output" but not get detail info there. Can you plz recommend/suggest any ...
