Re: Hinge stiffness of RackH element
Another question, Can I monitor my rack hinge response and define performance criteria of my structure. I would like to know the sequence of column reaching capacity. I found that rackH cannot define performance criteria. Do you have any suggest?

Hinge stiffness of RackH element
Hi I have a question. Normally in rack structure, the plastic hinge method will be applied at both end of all column elements. But in RackH, I can define only moment rotation that need to identified initial stiffness. Currntly, I have moment capacity of my column but I not yet found an article about...

Baseshear-displacement curve not degrade while all Nonlinear link yield
Hi I'm running Static time history analysis on steel frame (pin base with Nonlinear link at all Beam-column joints) by applied lateral and to monitoring Base shear-displacement curve in global response. I found that all of my nonlinear link was yielded but the structure capacity curve did not degrad...

Access violation on post processor
How to fix "Access violation at address 0000000002046469 in module 'SeismoStruct.exe'. Read of address 000000000ACCE000" it always appear after run in post processor.

Slip parameters for Multi_lin and Smooth
Hi, I try to model my beam-column hysteresis that have significant pinching. When I use Multi_lin, I use 0.05 for Slip parameter(HS). It's look nice but I found that I want to adjust an unloading shape of my hysteresis. Now I'm try to adjusting the parameter in 'smooth' instead f Multi_lin. The ques...

Re: Nonlinear behavior of 'rack' element class
Dear z.gronti,
Many thanks for your help, then, How can I release moment on my pin-brace element that is 'rack' element type?

Nonlinear behavior of 'rack' element class
I already create open section in 'rack' element class. Then I want to assign nonlinear behavior to my open-section column (PMM Interaction). How to assign? Is rack element class has a fiber section like RC element? Ps. I also found a 'rackH' element class but I don't under stand how can I assign PMM...
