Re: Maximum Direction Ground Motion
Dear Mr. Huff Yes as you said I use ASCE7-22 based USGS data but the site which I use to get Multi-Period MCE Spectrum is below. So the Multi-Period MCE Spectrum which I get from this site is RotD100, and I should use RotD100 for scaling records. Am I correct? https://asce7hazardtool.online/ thank y...

Re: Maximum Direction Ground Motion
Thank you so much dear huffte, I read your helpful article (Importance of Target Spectrum Basis in Earthquake Ground Motion Scaling, Huff, 2020), and because I want to use ASCE7-22 MCE spectrum which I have from USGS as "target spectrum" so I should use RotD100 for scaling time histories? ...

Re: Maximum Direction Ground Motion
Thanks, Seismosoft support for the clarifications I ask to be sure that after scaling is done by seismoselect (use ESM database and select RotD100 Method) then we get the Scale factor, we just need to amplify both direction's components by that scale factor and there is no need for rotating them? an...

Re: Maximum Direction Ground Motion
Hello all dears, I have qustion about the method of scalling and amplifying ground motion as dear "Kirkaguel " said, In ASCE7-22 for scaling Ground motions in {Amplitude Scaling method} (chpter16 at 16.2.3.2 ) maximum-direction spectrum shall be constructed from the two horizontal ground m...
