cyclic horizontal load

hi

I need to know how to consider a cyclic horizontal load in seismotruct and it`s possible to plot in output the hysteritic curves of the momemt vs curvature
thanks

wall analyses

<t>hi <br/>
<br/>
i doing a dynamic analysis of 3 shear walls of 21m 42m and 63m. I remark that the result of the displacement is the same in opensees and seismostruct for the shear wall of 21m and 42m but not the same for the 63m. Seismostruct give me wrong result when the shear wall is very high ...

Re: sagnay earthquake

hi and thanks for your answer

when i run a dynamic nonlinear time history analysis whith sagnay acceleration the displacement i get are not smoothe. i think that it is due to the high frenquencies.

sagnay earthquake

<t>hi <br/>
<br/>
i am runing dynamic analysis using el centro and sagnay earthquakes and others. the matter is that when i run a eartquake rich in high frenquencies like sagnay the displacement i get are not good. My question is does seismostruct can rule the seismic accelerations rich in high ...

fiber section

<t>Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I'm currently using fiber sections in Seismostruct and I would like to know what<br/>
fiber orientation the program assumes.<br/>
Does it assume a single fiber orientation (longitudinal only) or fibers section<br/>
oriented in both directions (longitudinal and transversal)?<br/>
If ...

<r>hello <br/>
<br/>
I try to make a building of several floors with rigid diaphragms. the problem which i have is that finished to construct my model with wizard I topped up secondary beams what makes that analyses it eigenvalue does not run. please would be possible to explain me how to make this ...
