Re: Error for paste a time history curve
There is no problem with the time histories, because it used by the seismostruct and the analysis was done without any errors. The only problem is for "Copy" and "Paste" each time history from one file to another one. I have been downloaded time histories from PEER and I use them...

IDA for 3-direction
I have a 3D structure. For IDA analyze, with three time history curves (for each direction), in IDA tab of the seismostruct, there is only one option for only one direction. Why? Could you please help me how can I analyze a structure with three time history curves and my considered coefficients for ...

Error for paste a time history curve
Hi Seismosoft, I am a problem with pasting time history curves which are copied from another seismostruct file. The following error is appeard to me. Could you please help me for thay? I have a lot of models and alot of curves, therefor, I prefer to use copy and paste. There is no problems with my c...

smc format
Hi Seismosoft.
Could you please guide me about accelerograms with sac format? I don't know how can I calculate delta-t and scale factor for importing this format to seismosignal.
Is this format type suitable for dynamic time history similar to PEER format (*.dat)?

multi_lin curve
Could you please explain HC, HBD,HBE and HS in the Multi_linear curve of the seismistruct? In the manual, there are only three examples about this curve, but I want to know the definition of each parameter exactly to find and estimation them for my model. For example, I don't know what is "slip...

Re: there is no different in damped and undamped model
They are same each. I thing that it was because of the low period T=0.006 sec. The span is 2 m and the section of the beam is 400x300 mm. It is under a vertical load at in the middle.

there is no different in damped and undamped model
Please clear to me why my results for a RC structure were not different in damped and undamped state? I use ''none'' damping for one model, and, I use damping based stiffness for other model. These two models are same. I use damping in element class but there was no different. After that I use dampi...
