Thanks for your reply,
Can you elaborate a little bit? what I did is using a rigid diaphragm besides introducing a node at the center of mass of the structure and I connected all of them together using a rigid diaphragm constraint.
how can I use rigid link instead since it doesn't yeild the same ...

Pushover Analysis Error
Hi there,
I have a building modeled with SeismoStruct 2016, while I am trying to perform pushover analysis it will end up getting me weird responses and/or not converging at all. I have checked the file several times to make sure there is no material error. but I can not fix it.
Can anyone ...

Integer Overflow issue?
I have modeled and applied cyclic loading on a reinforced masonry building in seismo-struct 2016 release 6 build 1 on Academic License, but while I am trying to run my model it keeps showing "Integer Overflow" and the software stops working. I am curious about the source of the error. Does anyone ...

Re: Modeling boundary elements using Ushaped element.
Thanks for your reply. I would like to know how can I connect these walls to make a compound wall? should I utilize rigid links or rigid diaphragms? which element is suggested for modeling boundary elements?

Modeling boundary elements using Ushaped element.
Hi,
I would like to model a U-shaped wall using Reinforced Concrete U-shaped Wall section with boundary elements. Unfortunately, the software does not have the capability to consider the boundary element thickness. So, how can one model a U-shaped wall with boundary elements using the built-in ...
