dear all;
i observe that the problem still appears in current edition,
i got very small capacity along section (c) manly

Re: activation time/L.F
dear zoi;
i got the problem solved by increasing number of steps but
i got a very weak response even lesser than the original structure
please any help;

Re: Jacketed section
Dear Zoi;
since i do not extend the steel sheets to the beams/foundation, how could i model that hollow section to get the shear demand imposed on it and not having the the effect of such jacket on the global stiffness?

dear seismostruct team;
i used the latter suggestion to model a retrofitting of concrete rectangular section with steel sheets
and i calculate the total shear capacity of the retrofitted section and assign it to the concrete cross section

i m trying to add some vertical wide-column to existing structure;

dear all;
i m wondering why is the value of the shear demand ( and the corresponding capacity for sure as a result ) is getting to be smaller than the step before, since i m expecting the shear to increase as the lateral lode increase (pushover analysis) and because i m not assigning and strength ...

dear all;
how i could see the enhanced section capacity in term of shear for a retrofitted beam ?
i cant see any modification in the shear capacity after retrofitting a beam with 0.001 of sheet using both method:
1- in section module : introducing the FRP jacket
2- as a hollow rectangular section ...

Re: performance criteria check
no i did not calculate any, i just use the default value of crushing strain of concrete to check all columns
do i need to calculate any thing ??
