Hi,
In time history analysis what is the meaning of fbd_ite error? The analysis stops and this message appears "Impossible to apply the next load step". What could be the problem?

Re: Friction Pendulum Isolators
<r>Excuse me, huffte.<br/>

I'm attempting a Time History anlysis of a structure with a base isolation system. In the global responce parameters (on the post-processor), the acceleration of the node at the base of the structure during the Time History analiysis is 0.I think that there is an ...

Friction Pendulum Isolators
<r>Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I'm modelling a structure with a base isolation system. The isolation system is made by 20 friction pendulum isolators, which are represented by the link element plst. The problem is in the output results.I note that there isn't any acceleration at the base of the structure, at the ...

plastic curve plst
<t>Dear Seismosoft,<br/>
<br/>
I'm trying to model a friction pendulum seismic isolator with the link element plst. But i can characterize the curve with only two parameters: the force F0 and the stiffness K0. How can i define the maximum displicement of the isolators and the maximum force? In the ...
