Changing units on seismosignal.

Post by s.dorbani »

Hello every one,
I am using seismosignal in order to establish response spectra of some seismic acceleration records, whose unit is cm / s ², and I want to convert it to the universal unit of (g)

When you read the acceleration history into SeismoSignal, you are given the option of entering a scale factor.

If your acceleration history is in cm/s/s, you could enter a scale factor or (1/981) = .00102 to read the history in units of g's and to work in units of g's.
