Reference to the sample accelerogram provided

Is it possible to give the data source reference of the sample accelerogram provided with SeismoSignal?
I am particularly interested in Imperial_Valey.dat and NorthRidge.dat files.
Is the Imperial_Valey.dat from El Centro EQ (1940) or (1979)? Which station it was recorded?
I guess the NorthRidge.dat is from NorthRidge EQ (1994).

Hi tone n tune. There are plenty of options for strong ground motion data. Some of these include:
1. Italian Accelerometric Archive (
http://itaca.mi.ingv.it/ItacaNet/)
2. COSMOS (
http://db.cosmos-eq.org/scripts/default.plx)
3. PEER (
http://peer.berkeley.edu/peer_ground_motion_database)
4. CESMD (
http://www.strongmotioncenter.org/)
5. Kyoshin Network Japan (
http://www.k-net.bosai.go.jp/)
6. European Strong Motion Database (
http://www.isesd.hi.is/ESD_Local/frameset.htm)
7. GeoNet New Zealand (
http://info.geonet.org.nz/display/appda ... +Resources)
These have detailed station and event data and may be of help to you.

Hi tone_n_tune,
We confess not to be able, at least at this stage, of providing you with concrete answers to your questions.
In SeismoStruct, we do supply users with a little bit of more information on the sample accelerograms that are installed with the program, and we should indeed be doing the same in the case of SeismoSignal and our other applications (even if this means having to remove sample records for which we cannot identify a precise origin). We will make this change in future releases.
