Verification of results

I'm trying to do a pushover analysis on a RC bridge pier with a permanent vertical load on top. using Mander's model with confined core and unconfined cover I'm getting unconfined crushing of concrete at a strain of 0.0074 and without permanent load the crushing is at a strain of 0.004. I could not find any equations in the verification report regarding calculations. Is there any way to know how these values were arrived at?
Thanks
Aysha

Aysha,
- what do you mean exactly with " I'm getting unconfined crushing of concrete"? What criterion are you using to assess such crushing attainment?
- what "equations regarding calculations" do you refer to, precisely? If you mean those of the implemented concrete model, you should refer to the corresponding publications, as indicated in the Help System and/or User Manual.

Dear Aysha,
We looked into your model. If you increase the number of analysis steps (or decrease the target displacement to a more reasonable value of e.g. 0.2 m), you will get the response you expect (i.e. the strain value at a given performance point is close to the performance criterion value set by the user).
