Bilinear Asymmetric link hysteresis

I am working on the Bilinear Asymmetric link hysteresis behavior. I am using a simple beam-column joint for this study. the analysis type is static time history. While I was checking the hysteresis I found that the hysteresis is not behaving as it should according to the diagram shown in the help file.

If you study the attached screen shots you will find out that in the hysteresis (Hysteresis.jpg), the post elastic line is not going through the yield rotation, moment coordinate in the negative moment direction. This is incorrect as per the rule diagram shown in the help file. According to my calculation the post elastic line in negative moment direction should pass through (-0.0012, -6) point but it is going through (-0.0015, -7.4) point instead. Here -6/5000 = -0.0012 is the yield rotation in negative direction.

Could you please clarify this issue to me ?

Please check the attached winrar file for details. This file contains model file, output text file and screen shots.

Indeed Sumonrh, there was a bug in the bl_asm curve. The bug is already corrected and the fix will be included in the upcoming version of SeismoStruct next month.

Many thanks for spotting the bug, and apologies for the inconvenience that this might have caused you.
