Hello,
I am modeling a joint in precast concrete shear walls. I have to use several link elements in order to obtain corect joint behavior. The problem is that joint's shear capacity depends on the applied vertical load - or the presence of friction is critical in that joints.
What are your plans in making link element for simple friction - dependend directions of link element?
Can I model the friction in any way in the current version of Seismostruct.

A link element with coupled degrees-of-freedom does feature in our future implementations list, but current resources do not allow its introduction in the immediate future, most regrettably.
