Applying Wind Forces in SeismoStruct

Post by Aldrine_17 »

Hi, Is there a way to apply wind forces in SeismoStruct or a workaround to consider the wind effect? I'm new to this software and want to learn how to apply wind load on a structure. For example, if I am analyzing a 10-storey or 20-storey concrete structure, is there a way to consider the wind effect on the structure? Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, there is no automatic way to calculate the wind loads according to the selected Code.
You need to calculate the wind forces yourself and apply them to the structural members.
