Dear Seismossoft,

I have been facing problem to perform Dynamic Time History Analysis.

My model is single storey RCC square frame on sixteen numner columns.

Eartquake loading has been given at the sixteen coulmn base. I get

the message as " UNABLE TO APPLY THE ENTIRE PERMANENT LOAD"

Please help. If anyone has any idea please contact me in the e-mail

The message means that the structure cannot withstand the initial loads that you are applying. Either the initial loading is too heavy, or there is a problem with you modelling. An easy way to checkt the latter is simply to run an eigenvalue analysis and check whether the deformed shapes of the eigensolutions make sense
