GM Parameters of baseline corrected time histories

Post by mwoods » 27 Jan 2012, 19:01

In SeismoSignal, the ground motion parameters reported are for baseline-corrected time histories (unless you've not applied baseline correction, of course). However, in SeismoSpect, the GM parameters are always reported for the original (un-corrected) time history, even if you've applied baseline correction. I think the approach taken in SeismoSignal is the correct one. Better yet, how about providing the user the choice of which version to calculate parameters for (original, or baseline corrected)?

Dear mwoods,

Apologies for the delay with which we are responding.

We do appreciate the pertinence of your suggestion and will certainly consider it for implementation in future releases of the software (not the upcoming version, but certainly in the subsequent one).

Thank you,
