Good evening all

i have model all the structure that i got in the seismobuild , and when i want to view it , it shows that "Unindentified String encountered in function NodetoLocation error " and then i cant open my files again
i also want to trace the failure but i cant open it and it shows that in my pc
does anyone have the answer for this :") , is my work completely lost?

Try going inside the Building Modeller and save the file from within it.
Also crry out a Verify Connectivity check in the Building Modeller from the corresponding toolbar button

it cant sir
the program force me to loop the loading process and wont show anything until i close the apps

What happens when you open the program and load the input file? Are you not able to enter the Building Modeller?

It loads the loading bar until 85% , and its say the error and cant do anything in there
Sudden blank space and cursor gone , cant click anything except close button

The problem was created due to the existence of too many short beams in one node (beam-column joint) of the 3rd floor of your model.
We have sent you the project with these short beams deleted, so that you can open it and model the joint again.

What happens if you enter the Building Modeller, change something small and come back to the Main Window again? In this way the structural model will be re-created from scratch.Does the message disappear?

Hello,

I can't enter the building modeller it always appear that error message. I tried creating a different main file and then open the corrupted file in buidling modeller but it doesn't let me. I tried inside the building modeller if there was an option to open another file (while inside the building modeller) but couldn't find.
