Shear capacity

Hello!!!
For calculation of Shear Capacity by Performance i used equation G1 of KAN.EPE
After for calculation of Shear Capacity by Code-Based Checks i used Collapse_Prevention. In material properties for characteristic and mean values i used the same numbers and in Safety Factors i used all coefficient = 1.
But after the analysis i have different values of Shear capacity. I think that it must be same?
Thank you!!!

Dear sanya greek,
You may export the shear capacity analytic calculations as annex in the technical report. Please check the values found in this annex with your calculations. If you are not able to find what might be the problem you may send me your calculations and your model at
z.gronti@seismosoft.com.

I mean that the results of Shear Capacity in Post-Processor by Code-Based Checks and Performance criteria checks not the same ( In material properties for characteristic and mean values i used the same numbers and in Safety Factors i used all coefficient = 1)
But for Chord rotation Capacity is nearly the same, what i needed.
I can not understand why for Chord Rotation it works and i have the same results, and why it don’t work for Shear Capacity.
For Chord rotation by code-based and performance criteria
Shear Capacity by code-based and performance criteria
Thank you!!!
I sended my SPF file to your mail.

Dear sanya greek,
I apologise for my previous post. I though it was about SeismoBuild, where you are able to extract the analytical calculations of code-based checks.
According to SeismoStruct's User manual: "Mean material values without safety or confidence factors are used in the automatic calculation of the elements’ capacity, i.e. in the case of Performance Criteria with automatically-defined limit." Hence, it seems reasonable to have different values in code-based checks from the ones in Performance criteria.

I know that, thats why in material properties i put the same values for characteristic and mean values.
For calculation by Code-Based Checks without safety or confidence factors i put all coefficient =1.
So, the results should be the same.

Dear sanya greek,
Indeed, there is a bug in the name of the equation in the performance criteria which will be corrected in the next release of SeismoStruct v2020. Thank you for reporting it. The equations have been programmed correctly but the name of the equation for KANEPE in the performance criteria does not correspond to the proper equation.
