Hi everyone, I am Trying to perform a Static pushover analysis on a 2 storey building that is composed of RC frames and Steel frames.
But as i try to perform the analysis, The problem statement "Sol_Prb" shows and "Unknown error" is also shown in the portion of the Eigenvalue analysis.
Any suggestions or help on how i can perform the analysis with my model/
Thanks in advance.

that happened with me as well, for the sol_prb try to change the number of steps of your models, sometimes a low number or a high number of steps can make this problem

humam2104, Thank you for your prompt response. I tried increasing and decreasing the number of steps for my model but nothing seems to happen,
The error still occur. How can I address seismosoft with regards to this problem? Thanks in advance.

They can see this post, and they might reply to you, but this error is related to multiple reasons, properly check your model if there's any connectivity that is misconfigured. They might ask you for the model you're working on though.

Hi niko21,
From the description of your errors, it might be the case that the structure is not correctly supported. Make sure that you have applied restraints to all parts of your building. Note also that there is an entire section in the program manual on how to address convergence difficulties, and there are numerous posts on this forum regarding convergence difficulties.Hope these are of assistance.

Thank you for your reply. I tried reading the manual and also some posts in this forum but none of the possible solutions seem to work for my case.
Can you just please take a look at my model? Hoping for your positive response. Thanks in advance.

Dear niko21,
As a general suggestion is to check the model, starting from the correct connection of the structural elements. This may be done with the help of the Eigenvalue analysis.
If you check the structural connectivity and you still get the reported message, you may send me your file to take a look at it to

I'm opening an old model of mine now, I used to get the full pushover analysis with it, but now I don't, a "Sol_prb" error is showing up (I'm using build 100 Release 2)
I used a previous version and this didn't happen? any ideas?

This should not be happening.
Which version of SeismoStruct was the model built on?
Can you please send us the model in the previous version that was running ok? (we need the old file, not the one in v2020)

I don't have the file as a 2018 copy since the program overwrites everything automatically when opened by the 2020 version.
I will send the model to your email for you to check it.
Note: I've opened this file previously in 2020 build 2 but then I upgraded to 2020 build 100 and this happened
