Dear all,
I am a new user of SeismoStruct and I am performing an analysis for a Reinforced concrete columns subjected to Flexture and normal forces with short lap splices (lap splice length=12 cm )at tension side only .How to simulate this lap splice in SeismoStruct? Can any body give me some benefinal suggestion for this question?

The effect of the lap splices is directly considered in the calculation of the the chord-rotation capacities of the members, according to the code-based expressions.
