Hello!

I tried to create infill panel by 4 nodes, but the programm can not to do it. What can i do?
I want to put panel by nodes n1_C3up , n1_B4_B5 , n2_B4_B5 , n2_C3up.

Thank you!

Dear sanya greek,

What message do you receive when trying to assign the infill?
Please note that the infill panel must be entered in anti-clockwise sequence starting from the lower-left-hand corner and must all belong to the same plane, as it is written in SeismoStruct's User Manual.

Dear sanya greek,

As described in the User Manual, you should assign the nodes with the following order: n1_B4_B5, n1_C3up, n2_C3up, n2_B4_B5, provided that they all belong to the same plane.

I find, the nodes are not in the same plane, becouse nodes of columns have a difference of 25mm with the nodes of beams.

If i create 2 nodes in the same plane with nodes of beams, after i can create infill plane. This nodes must be "structural" or "non-structural"? And influence it have for analysis?

Thank you!

Dear sanya greek,

All the nodes connected with structural members should be "Structural". The non-structural nodes are basically used for defining the orientation of structural members.
