analisi pushover

Hello, I have to do push-over analysis of a reinforced concrete structure in the shape of L. I want to know at what point I should apply forces. If in the center of gravity of the masses of each frame or how does the wizard seismostruct.

Hi,
I recommend you to apply the loads in the same way as in the wizard, i.e. at the location of the individual masses.
Using a single load at the centre of mass might be efficient if you have a very regular building (seems not to be your case) with in-plan stiff slabs. In any case, you should be aware that this option is a simplification and should be always validated it with more realistic approaches.
Cheers

In that case, what control node must take into account when determining the displacement.

Typically, the node closest to the centre of mass.

If I want to apply the load in the center of gravity of masses (CM), what should I do? It's properly insert a structural node and connect it with the bond rigid diaphragm to the 4 corner nodes of the field of floor where there is the CM Or should I use the rigid link? For other field of the floor using the bond rigid diaphragm. everything it's correct.
Many thanks

Have you tried both options? If yes, do they both run fine? If so, do they give the same results? If not, which is the one that provides results closest to your hand-calculations estimations?

I tried to run the analysis with both options, but I have problems of convergence of the solution. I do not know why

Correcting the previous answer. Using rigid links (restraing type x+y)in all areas of overlap the solution converges and I'm the pushover curve. With rigid diaphragms instead I can not find the solution. If I can help you understand. Many thanks
