I would like to model a 2D frame with SMA braces, the type of brace I am trying to model formed from two parts, A rigid segment, and an SMA section ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u8gijJ ... sp=sharing ), but how I can link them without Fracture in their connection zone and its behavior like one diagonal element? I am afraid that I am not sure I understood the model that you are describing. What do you mean 'without fracture'? How did you model the SMA part of the brace (element type, type of connection with the rigid part and the corner node)?
