Hello, I would like to understand which is the unit of the fourier amplitude spectrum if my accelerogram unit is "g"? If the spectum in normalised, how can I obtain a g-sec plot?
Thank you

Dear dani,
Have you looked into past Forum posts on this matter (carry out a search on "Fourier units")? And what about the information on the Help System? Do none of these help?

Dear all, I read the past posts and the help support, but the question is not clear yet. Could you please be more direct in your ansewer? If the time history is in "g", the Fourier amplitude is in "g"?
Thank you for your aid

Yes.

UPDATE: the above answer is incorrect - the right response is g/Hz
