Hi,

I wonder if you apply a force along rz means applying a bending moment along xy.
If it isn't, how can I apply a bending moment in a point?


If I apply a force along "rz", why does the analisy stop?

Dear Annamaria,

A force in the 'rz direction', does indeed refer to a moment applied around the 'z' axis.

The analysis may stop due to a million of reasons, depending on the structural configuration, on the characteristics of the elements and materials, and on the way you have carried out the modelling itself.
