Hi,
I'm doing a static pushover analisys of a building (reinforced concrete structure). I choose modelling mass with distribuited mass element. The analisys starts but it stops when the capacity curve decrease with message "Unable to apply the entire phase load". I don't understand which is the problem. The analisys is also very slow (about 12 hours or more). The characteristics of the model are:
No. of Materials: 2
No. of Sections: 33
No. of Element Classes: 50
No. of Nodes: 1264
No. of Elements: 1564
No. of Loads: 4

Dear andreaaldinucci,
Why do you say there is a "problem"? Could it not be that your structure has simply reached its maximum deformation capacity? Have you checked your storey drift levels? Have you checked strains, curvatures or chord rotations? Have you checked if a storey mechanism (e.g. plastic hinges on both ends of all columns in a given floor) has developed?
