Reinforcement strain performance criterion

I have been trying to use "Reinforcement Strain" of columns as a performance criterion. I want to use this criterion in order to assess the results of my 3D frame type RC building model analyses. I have totally 8 bars at column sections which are defined in three layers, 3 at the top, 2 at the mid-level and 3 at the bottom. Anyway, as far as I know the strain performance checks are performed at the integration sections. But which reinforcements are considered? Are those the ones that are subjected to highest tensile stresses at both ends? Or all eight reinforcements? There is an option under "New Performance Crietrion" and "Material" which asks to choose "All Steel Materials" or "Steel". What is the difference between these two? Is their difference related to my problem somehow?

All the fibres of the selected material (steel material in your case) are checked.
Refer to the User's manual and the help of the program for a detailed description.

I could not find any detailed information about how to use reinforcement strain as a performance criterion both in the help menu and users manual. It is said that you can define reinforcement strain as a performance criterion, but nothing else. For example it does not say what is meant by "Steel" and "All Steel Materials" in New Performance Criterion menu. Does the program differ longitudinal and transverse reinforcement by that? Or is it trying to differ various longitudinal steel bars on the same section? I am just making assumptions..

1. Users may select to check the strains for the material models defined by him/her (you have defined one material model, called "Steel") and "All Steel Materials". This means that in the list of members you are presented with the corresponding list of members.
2. Obviously, the program checks the strains of only the longitudinal reinforcement?
