Actually for my project I'm replacing Steel with SMA. Can i model shear wall with shape memory alloy as reinforcement? Is it possible? If not what other software can I make use of?

Indeed you can use SeismoStruct to model a shear wall with SMA reinforcement. This can be done simply by defining an SMA material in the Materials module and selecting it as reinforcement, when defining the wall section in the Sections module.

Thank You sir
Is it possible for me to model a building with shear wall which was designed using indian standard codes?

Although we are not aware of the details of the Indian Standards, we would be extremely surprised if it was not possible to model the shear wall.
SeismoStruct offers a wide range of possibilities to model the reinforcement the geometry of any RC section.Refer to the manual for details on the cross-section library of the program.

Sir, in the verification report CHAPTER 4 RC 02
It is a 7 storey shear wall verification model. But when i analysed i couldn,t get the results. The results are not matched with what you have provided in the report. Pls Help me. Please i need a quick answer. Is there any mistake with the model??

How to get displacement vs time and Base shear vs time graph after dynamic time history analysis?
Please help.

Hi vidyaravi1993,
No there is no mistake in the model.
In dynamic analysis the displacement vs. time plots should include the relative displacement with respect to the base of the structural model, rather than the absolute nodal displacements.
