"Prd_Ite" error while modeling link element

Hello to you all. I am new here.
I am trying to model a link element which can deform in just one direction and in other it is highly stiff. I have test data for the deformable direction of the link which is bi linearly idealized. I have assigned these properties in the F3(+ve) direction. Now in order to simulate the highly stiff support in F3(-ve) direction, i have assigned a high value of stiffness and Yield Force.
Following is the data:
(UNITS: N and mm)
F3 (+ve)
Ko+=2196.60
Fy+=3295.03
r+=0.005
F3(-ve)
Ko-=100000.00
Fy-=-1.5000E+006
r-=0.01
When i run analysis, it starts giving "Prd_Ite" error. But when i run the analysis with the default Stiffness in (-ve) direction i-e 10000 N/mm, it works fine. I have observed in number of trials that its just the increased stiffness value in negative direction causing this issue. Stiffness value equal to or less than the default value works fine. But i want the system to deform just in F3(+ve) direction according to assigned behavior and behave rigid (No deformation) when loaded in (-ve)F3 direction.
Can any one suggest a solution for this problem????
