RC joints

Could you please let me to know that how can create a suitable model for RC joint? I know that it needs link elements and also elfrm elements, but, how should be define the behavior curves parameters for these link elements when there are no test for calibration? I want to know that the researchers how create a RC joint in seismosoft without any test data while it needs to define a lot of parameters values for behavior curves (such as Takeda). Please clear to me what is the best method to create a simple RC joint model in seismostruct. I read the verification reports and also read its details, but it was adjusts and calibrate based on real test data which is not used in other RC joints. I also search for that in other papers and dissertations, but, a lot of them, used other softwares. I create my frames in seismostruct, but from three month ago, I'v been working for modeling a simple reliable RC joint, but I didn't success. I really needs help for that. Please guide me. Thank you.
