Hello,

I am currently trying to model a frame with elfrm-elements and a compression strut which is modelled with the same element type. In addition the frame has moment releases in all corners. The load is applied in the way that the strut is compressed.
The calculation aborts after a few steps. Since it is a purely elastic calculation I do not know why it aborts that early or is this a known problem?

The analysis will be completed if you disable the “Include Geometric Non-linearities” in the ‘Analysis’ module of the Project Settings.
