Dear sh_mahboubi,

A description about the link elements may be found in the User Manual and Help System of SeismoStruct. Also, if you carry out a search on this forum you may find a number of posts on this matter.
Finally, the 'How to create a bridge model' video available in the links below might help you:

thank you for your help
but i used link element for modeling neoprene bearing in bridge but something is wrong , i think there is a problem in defining nodes for neoprene would you please send me some example of modeling neoprene or base isolation in bridge A complete bridge model with isolated bents and abutments – SR-114-Isolated? i see in the forum you sent it for other and i think it would be useful for me too.
thanks

If you would send a request to Tim.Huff@tn.gov, I would be happy to send the model in a reply.

Hi,
I am working on nonlinear static analysis of base isolated structures. Can you please share the base isolated seismostruct model to h20181430050@hyderabad.bits-pilani.ac.in

The models may now be downloaded directly from the Sample Models section at the SeismoSoft website.

At seismosoft.com, Select Support-->SeismoStruct-->Free Sample Models.
