shear capacity at time steps

dear all;
i m wondering why is the value of the shear demand ( and the corresponding capacity for sure as a result ) is getting to be smaller than the step before, since i m expecting the shear to increase as the lateral lode increase (pushover analysis) and because i m not assigning and strength degradation duo to shear strength simply because its not will established in the current knowledge.
so the i m not expecting that the structure is redistributing the inertia force based on the flexural stiffness because i m using the conventional pushover

any help in this matter please;
best;

Hi zthaer,

The forces of particular members in non-linear analysis can get smaller with larger deformation, due to the loss of strength of that particular member or the redistribution of forces, because of the loss of strength in members close to that element. The fact that you are running conventional pushover is irrelevant, since it only related to the pattern of the lateral forces applied.
