Torsional stiffness in the non-linear elements

Hi,
I'm a student and I own an academic license of your software SeismoStruct v7 and I wanted to ask you a couple of information regarding the torsional stiffness of nonlinear elements:
- If I have a section that has a certain torsional stiffness GJ, during a nonlinear analysis this stiffness remains constant, ie equal to that of the uncracked section or decreases gradually with the analysis proceed?
- If YES, that will change with the progress of the analysis, can I change or cancel somehow the twist of compatibility?
I state that I have made attempts activating end-release of "Mt" but these complicate the numerical model and then wanted to know if there was an alternative method to cancel the twist in the non-linear analysis.
Thank you,
regards.
