I am modeling a 3d structure with SeismoStruct but I have faced to this error for many times : "Access violation at address 69595E06 in mddule 'nvoglnt.dill'. Read of address 000000c8."
when this error happens, it terminates all works and I can do nothing! I have reinstalled the program so many times but it didn't work. Also I have searched this forum and I have seen some similar cases but at that time also you have said that it will be solved in new versions. I am using the latest version (v5.0.1_Build5) but the problem exists yet!
What should I do about it?! Also my windows is Xp! Is this related to my windows?

In past similar cases, reported in this Forum, the problems were actually related to the model. Hence, please do send us your model, and we will have a look into the matter.

We tried your model and could not observe any problem (the analysis ran fine).

Please try installing the version that is currently available on the website (v5.0.2-Build2) and let us know if the problems persist (if they do, then we advise you to try running the analysis in a different computer, to check if the problem lies with your system).

We have looked a bit more into this issue and realised that the problem you describe with the "nvoglnt.dll" module is extensively reported on the internet (just do a Google search on it).

It is related to the OpenGL support of your video card (which, by the sound of it, is from nVidia), and this explains why we did not experience it in our system.

Please try downloading and installing the most recent drivers for such card, and see if that does the trick. Alternatively, follow some of the other suggestions that you will find on the web.
