SeismoStruct has not really been devised with the modelling of masonry structures in mind.
Only very experienced users can model this type of structures in SeismoStruct, by developing appropriate equivalent frame models.
Users without such level of experience are instead advised to make use of software that has been explicitly developed for modelling of masonry structures.

Good Morning, I'm a student and I'm working with Seismostruct and trying to modelling a masonry viaduct. The problem is to work with a section different from the concrete one and the adapted constitutive law of concrete with the masonry values. The program doesn't let me work. Someone has any suggestion? Rhanks, Chiara Magnani

Hi Chiara,

This will change in the upcoming SeismoStruct (expected in the next 2-3 weeks) release that will include 2-3 bug fixes of the currently available version.
