Seismosignal - fourier amplitude

The signal of my geophone is in milliVolts. The amplitude of the Fourier spectrum is in milliVolts? Thanks

Hi progeotec. A forum search on 'Fourier' will reveal that the Fourier amplitude units is dependent upon the units used for input of the accelerogram. However, it does not appear that milliVolts is one of the possible ensuing units, but you may find differently.

I use seismosignal for vibration analysis. I use geophones 3d and after acquiring the signals, construct a table format dat. In a column I put the time in seconds and the other values #8203;#8203;in millivolts of the geophone. After I select fourier and power spectra and I get the graphic frequency (Hz) and Fourier Amplitude. The Y-axis shows the values #8203;#8203;of the Fourier Amplitude in millivolts?

According to the other posts in this Forum, the Fourier Amplitude for your case will be milliVolts/Hz.
