baseline correction

I want to konw how you do the baseline correcting, are you using BMP? What about Iwan method, which is fit for the waves of permanent displacement.[:)]
We use LSF to determine the parameters of the chosen polynomial function, and then at each time instant we subtract from the accelerogram the corresponding values given by the aforementioned best-fit polynomial.
