Dear Sir/Madam
Hi;
my thesis in Master of science is incremental dynamic analysis of structures (IDA) under seismic loads . Due to the behavior of truss members Post-buckling behavior of truss member under pressure should also be considered in The stress-strain diagram (According to the following schema)
Please guide me on how to introduce this behavior .( The possibility that these non-elastic behavior of the non-linear geometric and material non-linear buckling analysis is possible)
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi alireza
in the case of post-buckling behavior in incremental dynamic analysis of structures. If you want exact solution, It is really recommended to do with abaqus.

Dear alireza,

If you carry out a search in this Forum for the words "buckling" and/or "bracing", you will find plenty of guidance on this topic, mentioning both the use of an initial imperfection, as well as of post-peak softening material model, to model buckling.
