Hi Reza0912,
Select the appropriate section type amongst the steel section types available in SeismoStruct. If the steel wall is simply a steel plate, use the rss section with appropriate width and height values.

This is not normal. Can you please send us the project file at support@seismosoft.com? Thank you.

We checked your file and it appears that there was no bug in the calculations, however there was a lack of proper checking by the program. The unfriendly message was caused by the zero values that you introduced in the dimensions of the agss, values that are not permitted and give the error. Please, adapt the section by the rss section as we suggested.

Note also that your file cannot run, because the steel plates are not connected to the rest of the structure.

Dear reza
why don't you use easily simulation software like ABAQUS, besides using seismostruct.Seismostruct doesn't a have steel shear wall section or element.
I recommened you to work with ABAQUS for better simulation.
seismostruct is well done for modeling concrete or steel frame structure which sections of this element have been available in this software.

tnx dear salar,i know the ABAQUS is beter than seismostruct in simulation of steel plate shear wall but in ABAQUS we cant analys somethimg big(all building),and ABAQUS take lot of time in analyses
